Day 1 – Aswan Arrival | Philae Temple & Kom Ombo

Arrive at Aswan International Airport (recommended arrival before 9:00 AM). You’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to visit the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis and set on a picturesque island. After your visit, step aboard Fayrouz Sanctuary, your boutique floating retreat. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch as your dahabeya begins sailing north along the Nile. In the afternoon, explore the remarkable Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus. Return to the dahabeya for a refined dinner under the stars as the Nile flows quietly around you.

Day 2 – Gebel El Silsila & Authentic Nile Life

Wake to the gentle rhythm of the river and enjoy breakfast on deck. Visit Gebel El Silsila, an ancient sandstone quarry that supplied stone for many of Egypt’s greatest temples. This quiet, rarely visited site offers a peaceful and intimate historical experience. Later, sail to a Nile island near Besheer, where you’ll stroll through lush banana and mango gardens and experience authentic village life. Return onboard for dinner in a calm and elegant atmosphere.

Day 3 – Esna & the Temple of Khnum

Continue sailing north to the charming town of Esna. Visit the beautifully preserved Temple of Khnum, famous for its vibrant astronomical ceiling. Located below modern street level, the temple offers a fascinating glimpse into Egypt’s layered history. Enjoy free time to explore Esna’s local market and narrow streets before returning to the dahabeya. After crossing the Esna Lock, sail toward Luxor as the sunset paints the riverbanks in golden light.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast onboard before disembarkation. Before departing, visit the magnificent Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious complexes ever built and a highlight of any Egypt journey. After the visit, transfer to Luxor International Airport. (Recommended departure after 3:00 PM.)
